Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, who is also chairman of the civil defense council, chaired at his interior ministry office in Riyadh yesterday the ninth session of the civil defense council.
At the outset of the meeting, the Crown Prince highlighted the grace of security, stability and prosperity being enjoyed by the Kingdom, lauding the efforts being exerted by the members of the civil defense board and their follow-up of the works of the council to achieve safety and protection from risks and disasters.
The meeting reviewed a number of issues on its agenda, including the national strategy for reducing the risks of catastrophes, disasters information system, and rights and duties regulations for civil defense personnel.
The regulations of the emergency relief and coordination of contingent measures at airport were amended.
