Deputy minister of Civil Service announced that there are 35,730 positions available for Saudi candidates in higher education institutes. They are either vacant positions or positions that are occupied by non-Saudis. The breakdown of vacancies by job title include 15,343 associated professors, 5,144 lecturers and 4,733 demonstrators in addition to other various job titles.
