Yesterday the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued a number of royal orders with immediate effect.

In the first directive, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, keen to provide comfort to the Saudi citizens, re-instigated all allowances, privileges and financial premiums given to civil and military state officials previously cancelled, amended or frozen as per the Cabinet's decision No. 551 dated 25/12/1437H.

He instructed the minister of finance to accredit disbursing a two-month salary as a premium for each actial participant in the front lines of the determination storm and restoration of hope who belong to either of the following government departments: interior ministry, defense ministry, national guard and presidency of general intelligence.

According to a royal order, exams of the current academic semester for all levels of the public and university education will end before the beginning of blessed fasting month of Ramadan 1438H.
The move was taken in consideration of personal circumstances facing female and male students in the Kingdom, the royal court statement said.

A Royal Order issued here yesterday relieved Prince Saud bin Abdulmohsin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of Hail Region, of his post, replacing him by Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in the rank of ministe.

A Royal Order issued here yesterday, appointing Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud as Minister of State for Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources, in the rank of minister.

A Royal Order issued here yesterday, relieving Prince Abdullah bin Faisal bin Turkey bin Abdullah Al Saud of his post as Saudi Ambassador to the United States, and appointing Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud as Saudi Ambassador to the United States of America, in the rank of minister.

A Royal Order issued here yesterday, relieving Lieutenant General Eid bin Awad bin Eid Al-Shalawi of his post as Commander of Ground Forces, and appointing him as consultant at the office of Minister of Defense, in the rank of General Staff.
According to the order, Maj. Gen. Fahad bin Turki bin Abdulaziz Al Saud was promoted to General Staff, and appointed as Commander of Ground Forces.
Competent authorities shall carry out the order with immediate effect.
