The Saudi capital city of Riyadh has witnessed a considerable decrease in the median temperature, at 03 Celsius, in last October 2020, according to the readings of the air quality monitoring stations of the Royal Commission for Riyadh City.
Indeed, during the months of this Year 2020, most cities, towns and other parts of the Kingdom, have shown, too, the same decrease in temperature, compared to the Year 2019, with the only exception, in February, which recorded an increase of a single centigrade.
On a related development, the spread between the maximum and minimum centigrade has varied, while the maximum across the city, during October 2020, was about 27 Celsius, on road monitoring stations recorded an average of 28 Celsius, compared to about 25 Celsius, outside the city.
Wadi Hanifa kept recording the lowest temperature grades, during 2020, due to the intensive forestation and the advantage of being away from the dense downtown vicinity.
It is noteworthy that the minimum temperature at Hanifa, has gone all the way down up to 12 Celsius, a matter that make it the best of places for picnicking and resorting for its mild temperature.
