The Development Platform of Educational Technology reviewed its experience of digital transformation that was applied in Saudi Arabia public education schools. It was presented in Global Educational Supplies and Solutions (GESS), which was concluded yesterday in Dubai. The Ministry of Education organized GESS at Dubai World Trade Center. 550 government agencies that represented 38 countries participated in GESS.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and ruler of the Emirate of Dubai, visited the exhibition and reviewed the latest innovations in the development of education and digital transformation in schools, and the innovative initiatives launched by the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. One of the Saudi Arabia’s initiatives is Future Gate Project which is applying now in 300 schools.
The UAE Minister of Education, Hussein Ibrahim Al-Hammadi, visited the exhibition. He commended the Development Platform of Educational Technology work in its project Future Gate. He reviewed the technical platform’s services, products and the digital transformation plan. The plan aims to spread digital education in all schools in Saudi Arabia within two years. The UAE Minister of Education request from the Ministry of Education in the United Arab Emirates to review the details and benefit from this platform.
