Riyadh, SPA:
Dr. Salah bin Fahd Al-Mazrue, the Representative of the Kingdom and Assistant General Supervisor of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre for Administrative and Financial Affairs, participated in the regular meeting of the United Nations Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF) which took place in Dublin, Ireland, in the presence of the UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Mark Lowcock.
During the meeting, Al-Mazrue presented various profiles on the humanitarian and relief work provided by the Kingdom, in joint projects, with the fund in a country, a specific community or what the Kingdom implemented or financed to alleviate the human suffering, of those countries and communities.
The executive directors of the fund provided a presentation to the members of the consultative group on the work of the fund and its working methods as well as the mechanism for selecting crises and targeted humanitarian sectors.
Saudi Arabia is a member of the consultative group of the fund, among largest humanitarian funds around the world, as the Kingdom is an influential member in the international arena.
