Since January 2014, Ministry of Commerce & Industry started monitoring A/C sale outlets
to ensure (Power Efficiency Label) is posted on A/C units. The new label describes how
efficient the unit is with respect to power saving. Rating is indicated by stars.
Minimum rating is 3 stars for window type units and 4 - 6 stars for split units. All A/C
vendors shall have labels placed on their products.
