Crown Prince Salman bin Abdul Al-Aziz chaired the cabinet meeting today in Jeddah. Crown
prince expressed thanks to Allah for the security, peace, development and stability of
Saudi Arabia under leadership of King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz. He expressed gratitude to
the male and female citizens for celebrating the National Day and expressing their joy
and pride. The cabinet reviewed a report on the UN general assembly and activities of
the Saudi delegation to the meeting, underscoring KSA stable stance on various issues
and developments at the world level. On the local area, the cabinet was assured of the
preparations for Hajj. The cabinet thanked King Abdullah for the support to sports and
youth activities that resulted in persistent achievements in various sports events and
contests.
