Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz patronized the launch of the wholly-owned Saudi Aramco petrochemical plant at the Port Arthur refinery. The signing ceremony was attended by the Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources Khalid Al-Faleh. Two memorandums of understanding were signed to study the investment in the ethylene complex in Motiva, signed by the Saudi side, Aramco CEO, Engineer Amin Al-Nasser and from the American side by Technip fmc, , And the second to study the investment in the chemicals complex (Aromatics) in Motiva signed by the Saudi side, the CEO of Aramco, Engineer Amin Al-Nasser, and from the American side, the CEO of Honeywell, Rebecca Libert. The first generation of Aramco employees, including the company's first executives, embodies the human relations between the Saudi and American people. At the end of the ceremony, His Highness the Crown Prince received a gift from retired Aramco employees. The ceremony was also attended by HRH Prince Khalid Bin Salman Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the United States of America and the official delegation of His Highness the Crown Prince.
