Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Adviser to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah region, emphasized the importance of developing the services in general, technology in particular, and made them available to pilgrims who come to the Grand Mosque in order to facilitate their faith journey starting from their homes until their arrival in the Holy Sites.

This came during a meeting held recently at his office in Jeddah with chief executive officer of Saudi Telecom, Dr. Khaled Hussein Biyare, and a number of employees of the company, stressing that the Saudi leadership, government and people, its ultimate goal to provide all means of comfort for the people who come to perform Hajj or Umra in accordance with modern technology system.
