Mohammed bin Mahdi Alharthi, the Director-General of Education in Makkah Region, inaugurated today the National Olympic Exhibition of Arabic Calligraphy and Islamic Arts. It is hosted by the public administration in Makkah region, which is represented by the department of female students activities. 67 female students from various education stages participated in this forum.
The Director-General highlighted that the goal of this competition is to promote the value of Arabic Calligraphy for students and to create interest in the Islamic Arts. He pointed out that this competition represents one of the values of Ministry of Education that aims also to held such competition that will contribute in developing an Islamic and Saudi Personalities that preserve their values and authenticity.
He expressed his thanks to the department of students activities for their successful organization of the competition. He added that having such competition will be a source of support for students to develop their personalities and will be a starting point for regional and international completion. Also, Makkah Region took precedence in providing the best initiatives.
