Jeddah, SPA :

 Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense met here last night with the French Minister of Foreign Affairs Jean-Yves Le Drian, currently on a visit to the Kingdom.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations, aspects of cooperation and ways to promote them, in addition to latest regional developments as well as collective efforts exerted to counter terrorism and extremism and stop funding them.

The reception was attended by Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel Al-Jubeir, Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Awwad Al-Awwad and other senior, civil and military, officials.

From the French side, the reception was attended also by the French Ambassador to the Kingdom François Gouyette, the Military Attaché Maj. Gen. Bertrand Du Lumiere and accompanying delegation.
