Ministry of Labor and Social Development Launches New E-Services

Ministry of Labor and Social Development launched a package of new e-services, which represent the first stage of the Digital Transformation Program. These e-services are for Issuing and renewing licenses for private companies and offices that provide recruitment services for facilities and domestic sector, Issuing and renewing licenses for companies and offices that provide employment for Saudis, and transferring the employment services between facilities electronically. The ministry seeks to increase the number of the service providers in order to raise the competitive rate, provide more options for the beneficiaries, and reduce the prices of services in domestic workers recruitment.
The spokesperson of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development (MLSD), Khaled Aba Alkhael, highlighted that these e-services allow the employer to apply electronically via the MLSD e-portal on the following link www.mlsd.gov.sa. The employer can request a license for setting up a recruitment agency for manpower services and renewing the business licenses. He added that these e-services allow representatives of recruitment companies and offices to apply for visas for the domestic and facilities workers and to request transferring the employment services between facilities.
