 Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has sent a cable of congratulations to Antonio Guterres on the occasion of his selection as Secretary-General of the United Nations.

 The King wished him success in the performance of his duties to achieve peace, security and stability for the peoples of the world.

 The King stressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's keenness to continue shouldering its regional and international responsibilities and its intention to support the United Nations' efforts.
