The Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC), represented by its branch in Makkah Region, continued to set up seminars about cybercrimes’ risks and penalties, Within Mecca Cultural Forum 2018 events “How to be a role model?” which is held in Makkah, Jeddah, Taif and Qunfuthah. These seminars targeted about 50,000 male and female students from various level of education, school, university and technical colleges.
Saleh Ali Alrabiah, the legal consultant in CITC, presented about the types of cybercrimes and its risks and prevention as well as the reporting process.  
CITC aims to increase the internet safety awareness among students in Makkah region and to inform them about the risks that they might encounter when they misused the internet.
