Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) adopted its new electronic system “Occupational Safety and Health System (OSHS).” By using this system, the requirements and conditions of the occupational safety and health will be examined and evaluated in all the training and educational institutions, starting from this semester.
Eng. Barak Muhammed Alharbi, Director of the General Administration of Occupational Safety in TVTC, emphasized that OSHS works according to a schedule that is specifies the day and date of examining and evaluating all the standards and conditions of the occupational safety and health, that are accredited in line with the international standards, of the educational and training institutions. The standards should be examined and evaluated by the occupational safety and health supervisor of the institution according to the time plan that is set by the technical system to register the observations.
He added that this system deals with the entered values and process them, issues the necessary reports about the occupational safety and health quality for all the institutions individually, collectively, or regionally. Also, the system send alerts when there is a low quality in any of the affiliated institutions of TVTC, therefore, it request operating to fix any dysfunction that affects the quality.
TVTC launched the strategic transformation program, based on the Kingdom Vision 2030 and the National Transformation Program 2020, to develop its strategies and launch Initiatives that will improve the training environment in all the affiliated colleges and institutions of TVTC.
