Cabinet commends king Abdullah's keen efforts dedicated to culture

The Saudi Cabinet in its last session headed by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques praised King Abdullah's unlimited efforts dedicated to cultural activities all over the kingdom. The Cabinet pointed out the prominent cultural activities of the last week which appeared in Janadria National Festival for Heritage and Culture, King Abdullah prize for Translation in its five branches, in addition to the two recently declared prizes patronized by the King and approved to start within the next year Janadria festival, one of them is related to Culture while the other is for Heritage. All such efforts embody the cultural and scientific distinctive positions achieved by the kingdom which has consequently become a destination for a continuous development of culture and science not only all over Arab and Islamic countries, but all over the world as well, stated the Cabinet.
The Cabinet stressed Kingdom's hope that the Arab Strategic Project for Intellectual Security will provide an Arab comprehensive security vision. This Project was presented by Saudi Arabia to be discussed at the 27th session of Ministers of Interior Council held lately in Tunisia, and has been aimed to become a reinforcing pillar upon which an intellectual inaccessibility will be available to all Arab Nation against corrupt intellectual effects that threaten joint Arab security.
The Cabinet reiterated its condemnation of the continuous hostility of Israel against Palestinians particularly Jerusalem and its inhabitants. It confirmed that if no firm and practical decisions are not quickly made by International Society against this aggressive actions by Israel, peace and security opportunities in the region will be demolished.
In addition to approving the agreement signed with the Federal Council in Switzerland in the fields of regular air transportation services, the Cabinet issued its approval on organizing king Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz International Center for serving Arabic language, which is envisioned to develop and disseminate Arabic language with an attempt to specify and unify its scientific, linguistic, and literary terminology.
