Riyadh – SPA:
Saudi Minister of Justice Dr. Al-Issa, who is currently on a visit to Britain, held a meeting here yesterday with UK President of the Supreme Court Lord Phillips and high-ranking judges.
During the meeting, Dr. Al-Issa confirmed that the recent reforms introduced to the Saudi judiciary system by King Abdullah resulted in high ranking of Saudi Arabia at the global level.
Describing the reforms as historical, Al-Issa said the monarch's reform project focused on business process reforms and an independent free of intervention judicial system. Currently, some 400 tribunals and courts are equipped with IT facilities and qualified staff, he said.
