The service offers exporters the option to request specific market research based on their needs, to help them understand certain markets, such as potential business partner / customers, and what are the right channels to reach them, customers preferences, and the business environment. This will be achieved through SE network of expertise in the international markets, accessing the international market intelligence databases, or using specialized market research agencies.

The service offers one centralized channel for exporters to submit issues and complaints related to export environment. Each reported issue shall be assessed, analyzed and ranked based on its complexity (ease of implementation), and impact (on exports) and prioritized accordingly. The related stakeholder will then be identified and an action plan will be developed to address the issue. SE will then follow up until the issue is resolved.

Grants offer companies financial assistance to help increase their competitive advantages, support internalization and new market entry, and accelerate international growth. The fund should cover activities related to exports capabilities development (e.g. training, obtaining certification, meeting quality standards, R&D), and promotional purposes (e.g. market intelligence, setup up new offices, participate in trade fairs and events). However, it does not cover subsidizing operational costs such as logistics & productions. Companies need to get the required approval from SE prior commencing the activities, and should provide the required documents that demonstrate their commitment to exports and to collaborate with SE. Companies will have follow up meetings with SE to report the progress before finalizing the activity and reimbursing invoices.

Export Readiness Self-Assessment provides companies with initial assessment of their export readiness and maturity level, to identify the high-level strength and weaknesses, to provide recommendations in areas of improvement, and suggested SE services for further help. The assessment should cover different areas related to exporting such as exporting history, selling, production capacity, selling proposition, resourcing modification, management, market resources, market research, pricing, payment mechanism, promotional material, and delivery.
