Criminal Record Certificate

It is an electronic service enabling entities and individuals to request and receive the criminal record certificate of the person concerned through the Absher Platform. Once the application is reviewed, the officer will approve or reject the application. If the individual wishes to obtain the criminal record certificate, he or she may visit the Absher platform and then go to the requests, review, and print the certificate. They may also request to deliver the hard copy to the national address. Request previous applications can also be found during their validity period, which is 30 days, or rejected requests also.

Customer support

If the entity wishes to submit the application:

  1. They should log in to the Absher portal to request the service.
  2. Select “Request for Criminal Record Certificate.
  3. Select the nationality of the person concerned.
  4. Fill in the ID number and the date of birth of the person concerned.
  5. Fill in the purpose for requesting this certificate.
  6. Pay the service charge.
  7. The person concerned may log in to the Absher platform.
  8. Select the required service.
  9. The person concerned can accept or reject the request.
  10. The agency (who requested the certificate) may log in to the Absher portal.

  2. The person that you want to check his/her criminal record must have an active account in Absher.
  3. The person concerned should approve the checking request via his/her account in Absher.
  4. The person concerned should have a fingerprint taken by the Ministry of Interior to complete the request for a certificate of no criminal record.
